Somos aprendices, somos fieles, somos amables
Estimados padres de primer grado:
Estamos en nuestra última semana completa de clases y es una época muy ocupada. He incluido las fechas importantes para esta semana y la próxima. Esta semana celebramos a nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado, y cada clase presentará un regalo durante nuestra asamblea del “Paso de la Luz” el viernes. Hemos terminado las pruebas MAP y los resultados llegarán a casa en el próximo sobre marrón.

Lectura: Historias de ositos de peluche
Fonética: Sonido “all”
Gramática: Contracciones
Escritura: Opinión sobre el superpoder favorito
Matemáticas: Sumar para llegar a 100

Estudios Sociales: Feliz cumpleaños, EE. UU.
Religión: El Reino de Dios
Oraciones: El Ave María y repaso de todas las oraciones de primer grado
Aprendizaje Socioemocional: Saber cómo somos inteligentes
  • ¡Hay algunas cosas que todavía NO sentimos que podemos hacer bien!
  • “Mantengo mi defensa arriba. ¡Estoy trabajando duro!” Algo que podemos decir cuando nos frustramos al intentar cosas nuevas.
Fechas importantes:
11 de junio: ¡Día del Osito de Peluche! Trae tu osito de peluche o animal de peluche pequeño favorito para que pueda acompañarte en tu mesa.
12 de junio: Asamblea del Paso de la Luz – 10:30 a. m.
Almuerzo de pizza proporcionado por la familia de Noah. ¡Gracias!
15 de junio: Excursión a la Biblioteca MV / Tri-Dee
16 de junio: ¡Fiesta de fin de año al aire libre de 1:45 p. m. a 3:00 p. m.!
17 de junio: ¡Último día de clases! Ceremonia de promoción a las 11:00 a. m. en St. Joe’s. Los estudiantes llevarán a casa sus carpetas moradas de tareas junto con los paquetes de verano, que deberán entregarse el primer día de clases en septiembre.

We are Learners, We are Faithful, We are Kind
Dear First Grade Parents,
     We are in our last full week of school, and it is a busy time.  I have listed important dates through next week.  This week we celebrate our 8th graders with each class presenting a gift during our passing of the light assembly on Friday.  We have completed MAP testing, and results will be coming home in the next brown envelope.

Phonics: “all” sound
Grammar: Contractions
Writing: Opinion of favorite superpower
Math: Add to make 100
Science: Season of Summer
Social Studies: Happy Birthday USA
Religion: The Kingdom of God
 Prayers: The Hail Mary and review of all first grade prayers
Social Emotional Learning:  Know How We’re Smart
      • There are a few things that we don’t feel we can do well YET!
      • “Put up my guard. I am working hard!” Something for us to say when we get frustrated while trying new things.
Important Dates:
June 11th:  Teddy Bear Day!  Bring your favorite small teddy bear/stuffed animal that can sit with you at your table!
June 12th:  Passing of the Light Assembly – 10:30
                       Pizza Lunch provided by Noah’s family! Thank you!
             15th:  Field Trip to MV Library / Tri-Dee
              16th:  End of year outdoor party 1:45-3:00!
               17th: Last day of school!  Moving up ceremony at 11:00AM @ St.
                          Joe’s!  Students will bring home their purple homework folders
                         with their summer packets due the first day of school in
                          September!
