MISSION STATEMENT:
Immaculate Conception Regional School provides an education rooted in Catholic beliefs and values for the students in Skagit and surrounding counties. ICRS stresses the spiritual, moral, intellectual, and physical development of its students, while fostering community among students, parents and staff.

Part Time Music Teacher

Immaculate Conception Regional School (ICRS) is seeking a Music Specialist. This is a part-time position of about 10 hours per week (M-W-F afternoons). The position begins in the Fall 2024.

The ideal candidate exudes a great love for teaching music and holds a teaching certificate with an endorsement in music. The candidate supports students so that they become all that God has created them to be, and works as a team player with staff, parents, students and administration. Candidates must meet Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements.

Expectations:

  • Supports a culturally diverse academic environment.
  • Promote the mission of Immaculate Conception Regional School.
  • Uses best teaching practices.
  • Collaborates with Professional Learning Community and principal to support students.
  • Plans and implements instructional programs and activities to help students achieve mastery of the Washington State Learning Standard for Music and school-wide learning expectations.
  • Demonstrates effective classroom management skills.
  • Evaluates and communicates student progress.
  • Promotes positive relationships with and among students and parents.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a current Washington State teaching credential. Non-certificated candidates may apply.
  • Participates in professional development to improve teaching craft.
  • Completes Catechetical Certification through the Archdiocese of Seattle.

Substitute Teachers

ICRS is always looking for substitute teachers. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and hold a valid credential, carry out lesson plans provided by teachers, communicate well with students and adults and teach effectively. Volunteer Positions

We are currently looking for volunteers for the following roles:

  • Grant writer
  • Yearbook Coordinator for 23-24 school year
